Day Zero

I'm calling it day zero instead of day one because I haven't started the diet yet... that's tomorrow. But I'm just about to leave for the gym to do my first workout on the Global program.

Am I psyched? Hell yeah.

A little about me:

My body is totally cookie cutter average. Smack center of the bell curve, at least as far as I can tell. I've attached a couple of pictures to give you an idea. I'm neither fat nor thin, not scrawny and definately not muscular.

My background is in distance running, and it's the only thing I ever really competed in... though not well, I should mention. My fastest 5k was a wonderfully mediocre 20:00 flat. But I still have always enjoyed the sport, and so I've kept at it since highschool began. I've also lifted inconsistently and without inspiration on and off during that time, but rarely with any noticeable gains. Mostly, it's because I can say I've never fully tried, at least for and consistent time duration, and nor have I adjusted my diet to allow for lean body mass gain.
