My Dad works out religiously with the weights three days a week and since my life has altered a bit and I'm only using light weights I met up with him today to get in a nice workout.
My parents got that Wii fit thing and it's absolutely amazing! Forget the fact that the machine told me I was fat and my real age was 48, it also was able to show me how well balanced I am and revealed that I carry 53% of my weight on my right side.
I'm still getting a thumbs down w/ regard to karate but think I'm going to start into that couch to 5k program in spite of concerns from my doctor - i'm not sure how much easier a program I can get to start with. It's only 20 minutes of walking 3x/week to begin with and I don't think I'll be able to do much more than 15 seconds of jogging at a time now anyway.
