Wii to the Rescue!

dukowitz@gmail.com's picture

Doc had wanted me to do something to break into that c25k program and I was stumped because that program seemed about as easy as it gets but, I've been getting in around 20 minutes each day on the Wii working mainly balance, aerobic and yoga exercises and I'll be letting that serve as the break-in she was talking about. Cardiovascularly speaking, I'm still getting my highest heart rate from the light workouts with my dad due to the overall speed of the workouts and still seeing some musculature improvement.

Eating is getting better all the time and I'm getting used to not relying on a work cafeteria for my breakfast & lunches.

Sorry, not feeling creative with titles tonight.

Anyway, today was my 2nd run for the week. I barely completed 2 miles in 30 minutes of walk/run intervals. I can't even say for sure what the intervals were, because some were 2 minutes, some were 3, some were 1 (running). I think maybe I'm trying to hard to get back to my previous pacing, and just accept that right now I probably need to keep the pace at 2 and 2 - trying to do more isn't helping.

Food today:
Breakfast: Fruit Smoothie (banana, frz fruit, hemp protein, flaxseed, pb powder, water)
PWS: Morningstar Veggie Cake - Southwestern Style
