I'm tired...

I can hardly keep my eyes open. My family and I just played a game of "Here & Now" Monopoly...we had to call it quitsss....Anyyyyyyyway....

Meal One: 1/2 cup Oatmeal with a tbsp of 100% Peanut butter, Organic Eggs(1 whole, 1 white)

Meal Two: About 10 baby carrots

Workout(eventhough it's Sunday):went to the gym for a bit, did do too much.

Meal Three: 4oz Chicken Breast, unsalted Chips & homemade Salsa. If you didn't notice...I LOVEEEEEE salsa!

Workout: I went for a 2.75 mi jog/walk around my neighborhood just for fun.

Meal Four: Handful of plain Walnuts

Meal Five: 4oz Chicken Breast with a fresh Salad(romaine lettuce/spinach, baby carrots, tomatoe, cucumber, broccoli spears, unsalted sunflower seeds, and salsa as my dressing)

I remembered my protein shake this morning so that's an improvement over last week. I thought I'd give a detailed description of my morning run, which lasts longer than the designated 30 minutes.

minutes 1-3, warm-up walk at 3.5 mph at an incline of 2.5
minute 4, jog at 5 mph at an incline of 10.0
minute 5, walk at 3.5 at an incline of 2.5

Then I stretch for about 5 minutes, working especially hard on the calves and hamstrings.

For the "real" run:
minutes 1-3, light run at 5.8 mph at an incline of 2.5
minutes 3:30-4:30, sprint at 8.0 mph at an incline of 1.5 (I used to sprint in the 9.0 mph range but got majorly burnt out--and injured--after a couple of years so I don't sprint nearly as fast now although I probably could)

Weights, Wii, Treadmill

I kicked off the morning w/ Cherios, milk & a banana then a Wii warm up of cardio followed by a workout w/ my Dad then 10 minutes on the treadmill. I almost feel funny mentioning my 10 minutes on the treadmill after reading about Maresca's treadmill run of 43 minutes. My times weren't near as fast - the machine worked it's way up to 4 mph at a slight incline and I knew I was starting to push things a bit so I ended at 10 minutes but, it's a start :)

I did follow the workout up with another good breadfast of scrambled egg beaters w/ vegetables, orange juice, milk, whole grain muffin(?) (the things you split w/ a fork) and some fresh pineapple chunks. (cut straight from a pineapple, not from a can or anything)

I lost 4kg in two weeks and am so excited! I enjoy to be active again, was passive for quite some time.
1st meal: Oatmeal low fat milk and sweetner

2nd: Brown rice salad and a crummed chicken schnitzel, a small apple

3rd: Brown rice salad and a crummed chicken schnitzel

4th: 1 ricecake and cottage cheese

5th: Veggies and chicken breast

I did my strenght training this evening
I feel great and feel that the eatplan gives me enough energy

Exercise:

30 minutes recumbent bike (6 miles)

Food:
Meal 1: Oatmeal, eggs
Meal 2: Protein shake
Meal 3: Cottage Cheese Roast, spinach
Meal 4: string cheese, baby carrots
Meal 5: quinoa, spinach

Didn't do strength training today - my PT called me and told me he wasn't feeling good and asked if I could do it tomorrow instead.

Feeling pretty tired tonight - maybe after affects of my food choices Saturday evening + neighborhood kids w/fireworks till all hours.

My protein shake wasn't very slushy today - probably because my co-worker put it in the fridge for me, instead of me leaving it out throughout my workout/getting ready. It took a long time to eat it.
