G'day...

I wanted to sleep all day today, but kicked myself out of bed at 10am. Had breakfast. Shortly after had my Phase 3, Week 4, Workout 1(I didn't get to the gym yesterday, so today was my "Monday"). I did 35min of intervals on the Treadmill. I wanted to do more cardio, but I was pressed for time and still had to get meal two in there somewhere. That's why I do my runnings on Sundays, for days like this. Well, I had my lunch, ran my errands, came home had dinner, then a snack. Now I'm here. By the way, it was beautiful outside!

1- 10:30am-- 3 Eggs(1 whole, 2 whites) and a piece of plain whole wheat toast.

Cereal day!

It's my high carb day, which means bring on the cereal! :)
I did my run earlier this morning and I'll be doing my weights after work today at home. Taking a little break from the gym where I sometimes have to wait to get a machine. I hate that. I'm far too impatient. That should take another 50 minutes or so.

For food today:
Breakfast: 1/2 cup Fiber One cereal mixed in with 1/2 cup Special K protein cereal, with skim milk and a banana, and a hard boiled egg. About an hour later I had 1/4 cup plain yogurt mixed in with about 1/4 cup sliced strawberries.
Snack: two rice cakes with 1 tbsp of peanut butter

One day off & back to lifting

I took yesterday off to let myself recover a bit and worked out this morning and did some light Wii.

Tue AM workout
calf raises bwx20, bwx20
ab lounge crunches bwx25, bwx25
db squats 20x10, 20x10
db lunges 10x10, 10x10
still leg dl w/ db 10x10, 10x10
stability ball crunches bwx15, bwx20
step ups 10 x 10 reps each leg - 2 sets
stability ball push ups BWx20, BWx20

i went through all my pre-made turkey sandwiches as of yesterday morning at 6 a.m. and the day sort of went like last week when my next meal wasn't until 2 p.m. and I did the same thing as last week and treated myself to a chinese buffet.

TODAY IS DAY 3

Todays Thoughts: My husband made a good point about my workouts, he said that I should do GHF as written for a few weeks and then modify if I'm not happy with the results. Otherwise I won't know if it's working or not. So, I'm going to finish my week and then start on Phase 5 week 2 on Monday and do the program as written for 1 month (even though I probably won't be able to run every morning).

My first High Carb Day! I haven't eaten this many starchy/simple carbs, in one day, in a long time. Keeping my fingers crossed that my metabolism likes it :-)

Bummed Out...

I didn't do my workout today. I'm really bummed out. Now that I'm in routine of going to the gym everyday, I feel so sluggish when I don't go. I'll have to change up my days this week, I guess. I missed Monday and today. I made up for Monday yesterday. I don't know, this week is all weird. My car broke down so usually my Mom and I work out together...she kept telling me that we'd go "later" so I didn't do anything thinking I would go later, but I call her and all of a sudden she has a change of heart. And it's too late to go running outside, the mosquitos LOVE me. I'm bummed to say the least. Would have been nice if she let me know ealier, so I could have done the cardio I'd like to, ya know... Oh well, tomorrow I'll make up for today.
