T.G.I.F....

Great day today. I feel like I have a new wardrobe, kinda. It's a great feeling slipping into some pants that didn't fit last month. Just got to keep it up!

I met up with an old 'bff' that was in towm today for lunch and she wanted MEXICAN! God was tempting me today. It was right before I went to the gym, too. Like I've said before I don't like to eat right before I go to workout, especially Mexican food. Well, I had three chips and cabbage salsa. I didn't order anything because I wanted something fresh, and I wasn't totally hungry. I listened to my body :). But, after talking a bit, before the food came, I started to get a little hungry...nothing crazy, nothing that water couldn't take care of. But she ordered a grilled chicken burrito with green sauce. She gave me a few bites, I mostly picked at the chicken and had some beans, haha. I don't know if I'd consider that a meal or not. Maybe a snack? It's food I consumed, so I'll include it somewhere in there.

MY DOG "RUFUS" SEE PICTURE

Since yesterday was a drag, I thought I would make up for it today. We'll, what was I thinking. My Wire Fox Terrier "Rufus" had to be taken to the vet at 8:15 am, so I had to get up at 6:30 a.m. to get ready for that. He's doing good, just a bladder infection from a past bladder stone surgery several weeks ago. I did jog 2 miles on our country road with steep incline/decline hills. I will admit I'm not modivated at doing cardio. Today was a good cardio day. If that is all I get out of today, at least I accomplished something.

keeping busy working out

Tuesday was my 6-week postpartum exam and everything checked out ok. I am 19 pounds over my prepregnancy weight. We broke down and finally bought a scale in order to weigh Justin. I need to only weigh me once a week at the most.

Exercise this week:
Monday - walking approx 1 mile
Tuesday - Wii Fit aerobics and balance
Wednesday - Wii Fit strength and yoga
Thursday - Wii Fit aerobics and balnce
Friday - napped most of the afternoon then watched Monk and Psych so skipped workouts
Saturday - walking 2 miles up "the hill" (I only pushed the stroller down)
Sunday - planned walking

Nutrition could be better. My goal for this week is to get my laptop sent in for repair and get Protrak loaded on the desktop in the meantime.
