It has been a long time since I was on the blog and much has happened.
I continue to have rotator cuff problems and have limited ROM in my right shoulder and arm. I developed posterior tibial tendonitis in my left ankle which is pretty good when I wear a brace and plantar fasciitis in my right foot. For a period of time I tried to work through it but found it very painful. I essentially stopped walking (except normal day stuff) for almost 6 weeks and now am pain free.
More importantly, I had developed recurring chest pain. A visit to a cardiac rehab clinic showed a poor picture of high cholesterol, significant obesity, significant hypertension and fasting blood sugar just under the borderline for prediabetes. The doctor did not think the chest pain was cardiac related but I did have a significant (30%) reduction of cardiac output over a test 10 years earlier and an irregular heartbeat. He felt that with weight loss and proper nutrition I could improve on virtual all of the issues.
