Light Wii yesterday and a staggering four salads over the preceding two days which is somewhat unprecedented along w/ plenty of turkey sandwiches, yogurt, milk, bananas ...things like that. (also 1-2 boiled egg whites w/ each salad & fat free Ranch dressing)

I'm still waiting for a few "upticks" on the scale (Wii balance board) to see my new weight range. I've had three days of down weight along w/ a sideways movement yesterday but I know I'm out of the 280-285 range for sure since last two check-ins have been around 275 lbs.

No lifting w/ Dad on Wednesdays now due to Wed chem class starting a bit earlier this semester.

TODAY IS DAY 10

Todays Thoughts: Feel like I'm back on track today mentally and physically. My foot feels much better and I got in a little bit of running this morning. I'm addicted to that "runners high" in the morning :-)

I forgot how good it feels to be sore from working out.

I have a little post workout soreness which must mean I am doing something right. The only challenge is getting out of bed for that first night feeding (somewhere between 11PM and 1AM). Strangely enough, I don't feel as stiff at the next one.

Also, some of the pain in the knees upon standing is subsiding and the shoes and rings are fitting a little looser. Maybe soon the joints will all be back to normal. I know it can take up to 6 months and may never be completely back to the way it was. I am just hoping to avoid being forced to buy new shoes and have the rings resized.

First time to blog

This is my first time to blog. I have been reading a lot of the blogs and decided I needed to get with it and join in. I joined GHF about three weeks ago. I'm getting a slow start cause I have been on vacation and looks like next week I will be going on another one. I love to walk and also a member of Curves. I need a little more strength training and that is why I'm here. The more I read the more I like this site. Here is what I have had to eat today.

Breakfast: 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup strawberries, and whey protein mixed in my oatmeal.
Snack 1: 1/2 cup cottage cheese, baby carrots, and 1/2 cup grapes.
