Almost forgot...

Howdy There :) [Leave it up to me to get all comfy in bed THEN remember to blog, haha]

What a hot day here in Sunny California! It was tricky, too. From the looks of it, it seemed like it'd have a slight coastal breeze, but warm enough to sweat and slightly tan. That's my favorite weather! Anyway, before all this, my lovely buddy woke me up bright and early wanting to get something to eat and go play tennis. He just came over, no call or warning. I can't deny a game of tennis, so I made something really quick(not wanting to eat out), threw my hair up, and headed out. We went to my gym to play tennis...about a good 45-60mins worth. I was dying, though! I got burned, I don't burn easily either, at least not this far into Summer. I just tan. Anyway, we had to call it quits and go workout indoors instead. I found out that the high for the day was like 90 degrees...that didn't make sense. Sometimes I think the thermometers play games, haha. All in all, I had a great day. Great workout. It's always fun working out with a buddy every once in a while. Right? So, yeah, I had a great, happy, energized day!

Thanks

Thanks for everyone's encouraging words. Obviously from my blogs you can tell that I work out hard so I'm not going to be giving that up any time soon.

But in response to a couple things: I didn't jump from 900 calories to 1700 overnight. I would've gotten very sick had I done that! :) I worked my way up, and right now it's steady around 1300. I'm not on any medication so that's not causing the problem. And I do think I put weight on first in my hips and abs but it's not budging from there at all.

Daily changes

I've been doing the workouts that Julia suggested and noticed that when I have a day to rest but not change my diet I seem to gain a few pounds. I then have a day of full workouts and lose those pounds again but I'm not sure if it is because I did the workout or because I backed off on my diet intake. I eat breakfast and then do my morning workout leaving myself not feeling hungry so I don't eat again until late afternoon or evening. This 4-6 times a day of eating is a challenge because I just can't eat when I'm not hungry. I have programed my mind to only eat when I feel hungry so there are days when I only eat twice and others when I might eat 4 times through out the day. I'm still working on the program Dr. Frank has mentioned and am getting my mind under control, or should I say getting my mind to think positives and remember what is good and necessary to keep me healthy. I still wonder if I'm doing this stuff correct, but was told last night that someone who hadn't seen me for 2 months has noticed my weight loss. I have only loss 5 pounds but tightened up muscle and excess skin that I got from being 150+ overweight and stretched it to the max. It takes an outsider noticing a change to let me know because it seems to look the same to me.
