spring is in the air

Well its the 1st of September the 1st day of spring here in Australia 3 months till Christmas, and that was my goal time to loose 10kgs by then, really need to get focus cause its just not happening so Day 1 of a new begining here we go

I tried

After 3 tries I just sent the pictures to Julia so she knows what I use to look like and what I'm like now. The old me is terrible and the new one is almost to her goal of weight loss. It has taken almost 15 years for me to get serious about losing weight, I started about 5 years ago but it has really just been this past year, even with pounds off, that the healthy eating and proper exercising were added to my program. Thanks to GHF I have some good workouts that I now do to help tighten up all the stretched out skin and to eat healthy. I tried some other ways but none of them were healthy or long lasting until I got serious and started doing it correctly. I figure if I can do it, anyone can, so hang in there and just know if you really want the weight off and to stay in good shape, body, mind and spirit...YOU can!

Not sure where to start ...

Lifting has gone well. I did get some extra 10 pound plates so I've got some 85lb dumbbells to play with and I've started using an intermediate range weight when benching. I hit 255 lbs for 15 reps today which was pretty good considering I was up all night cleaning and working on my library before the workout this morning. I'm looking at 275 for 12 then maybe try to hit 300 for 10 or 12 on my next couple bench workouts.

An uncle of mine got a kidney transplant last Thursday so my parents have been traveling a bit and we might have to push off this weeks Friday/Saturday workout and pick things up again on Monday.

Ate well yesterday. Think I did everything right! lol.
Meal 1: Oatmeal and protein
Meal2: Tuna on wholegrain bread
MEal3: Chicken, sweet potato, broccoli
Meal 4: Vegetarian Bean chilli with green vegies and 1 egg white
Snack: Protein Shake
Meal 5: Chicken with vegies

Was soo tired went to bed at 8:30pm which was great. Had the best night sleep and woke up this morn at 5:40am and went to gym and did 50min cardio and then taught a Boxercise class. I bought a new 0rganiser/diary so have been writing everything down to keep track of what i'm eating at what time. Plus it makes it easy to put in protrack and in here cause sometimes I forget what i've done!
