11/3/08 - New Mile Time!

I got up this morning and jumped on the treadmill in my garage, and I knew as soon as I started warming up that it was going to be a good morning :)

I walked a couple of minutes, then got off and stretched really well, grabbed some water, stretched some more, and got back on. I put the treadmill at 5mph with the goal of trying to get under 12 minutes for my mile.

I jogged at that pace for maybe two minutes, when I realized I might actually be able to jog for the full twelve minutes. Another minute went by and I felt even better, so I put it up to 5.5mph, and I was able to maintain that pace all the way to the end.

Day 1

Hi there!

After living one year in Canada, i'm back in France and want to make a real change in my life! I want to know what does my best ever body look like!

Today was my day 1, went to the gym, and did my 45 minutes of cardio! It feels great to sweat for a better me!

I'm all set, my meal plan is on my fridge, and my gym bag is ready!! Now i have to keep my motivation...

I'm repeating myself that i'm doing it for me, and that i don't need people to tell me that i do right! But it's not always easy!
Especially when people like friends and family who should be there to support you, are actually making fun of you! Telling you that you won't ever be able to follow the plan in the long run!!

Week 2 Workout 4

Okay so i managed another day, had a good workout this morning but however was feeling rather tired. Still struggling with my initial energy in the morning to wake up but i suppose as soon as i get into a routine it will get better. Did my waterpolo last night as well, trained hard and i can feel that im getting fitter and lighter in the pool, my legs are stronger and my reaction times even quicker. Well here is my workout for the day.

Leg extension(one leg) 12x20kg, 10x20kg, 12x 20kg each leg
Standing leg curls 12x20kg, 10x20kg, 12x20kg each leg
Front squats(Bb) 12x30kg, 10x30kg, 12x30kg
