After my run yesterday morning I went and lifted right after work, and it went pretty well.
I can really tell how much easier it's getting to do the abs exercises. I saw gains of 30% in the number of reps I can do!
I'm disappointed in my lack of strength in my upper body however. When it comes to biceps and chest, I'm feeling like a weakling. I'm excited to see where it goes in the next several weeks though.
I also got up this morning and got into the gym and did 20+ minutes of cardio - first a little on a stair climber and then a longer interval workout on the stationary bike. I decided to only run every second or third day to make sure I'm giving my shins enough time to recuperate so they don't start hurting again.
