Everything is A-Ok...

Today was just swell. My workout we really well, I sure felt it. I know I'll feel it a little more tomorrow. I know this week was a lil stressfull in missing my workouts, but I feel I'm back on track. I've made up for Monday's workout(which was on Tuesday), and the same with Wednedsay's(which was done today). I've made up for my cario both days, too. I've paid my debts! Haha. It feels good.

I hardly go anywhere these days, unless it's to the gym, or run errands. Half the time I'm wearing my workout clothes to run errands. So, I haven't tried on a bucnh of clothes which is the ultimate "weight lost tester". My jeans fit amazingly, by the way. They used to feel so snug but I refused to go up a size because I'd planned on losing it!!! Haha. Don't we all do that? Anyway, my jeans feeling loose, led me to try on other things and I'm impressed! It's only been about a month and I can't wait for the end result.

Day 5

TODAY IS DAY 5

Todays Thoughts: Decided to NOT make what my family calls "the lemon cake" for the birthdays tomorrow. It has at least 1000 calories in a small piece. The primary ingredents in the filling/frosting are heavy whipping cream, mascarpone cheese and sugar. Instead I'm going to pickup cupcakes for the kids and my husbands favorite Heath Bar Ice Cream cake. I don't like either one of those so I won't be tempted to eat them ;-) I want to see 150.9 or less on the scale on Monday (or more importantly 37% bodyfat) more than I want to eat cake/ice cream!

S-L-E-E-P **** DEPRIVATION *****

Last night, I was not able to sleep worth a darn. Got up around 3:00 am and could not go back to sleep. We'll, as you can guess, this had a great inpact on my workout. I went to workout and could not muster the stamina to get it together. I did work out my biceps but I felt as if I did not do them efficiently. I came back in the house and ate 1 cup of oatmeal and 4 egg whites/1 egg. I decided to at least get something out of the day, so I decided to go back and really pushed myself on my biceps and at least work one muscle group. I can really tell that they got a good workout, so at least I feel the day wasn't a total loss. So hopefully I can get a good nites rest and hit my leg routine tomorrow.

Going away...

This morning I woke up and went on a little run. Didnt go as far as I wanted to (my knee was bothering me a bit), but I am attempting to follow my new rule, which is every morning I need to do some type of exercise. In the past, I frequently made the excuse that I did not have the time. However I always found time for sleeping, showering, eating... watching TV... so I need to make exercise a priority (as well as cooking my own meals instead of depending on fast food).

I leave for camp tomorrow. It will be there for two weeks. I am hoping that I can use the time there to help suppress my consumption of dr.
