So I have been MIA for a week or so. I have managed to reverse all my 4 weeks of hard work in a week and 1/2. :-(
I hate when I do this. I was doing so well and then down hill I go. I ate so much yesterday I was miserable and not only did I do it once but twice! I haven't done this in a long time. I wish I could find out why I do this to myself. ........on a positive side I'm back today to eating better.

Feeling guilty!

OK, so I'm off on my eating, I had a craving for a hambuger and gave into it, went out and had one. Now I just can't seem to get back on track, I'm not totally off track, plus I have had 3 stomaches in the last week, so the only thing that helps is sprite and saltines. On top of that I'm so depressed because I still haven't found a job. On a happier note I have been doing my workouts.

Just needed to vent!

Well I have been doing well, I did my strenght workout this morning.
Boy I have my moments when I really wanna just pig out. I was upset yesterday and the 1st thing that came to mind was to EAT! I hate that feeling, but I didn't give into it.
What do you do when your upset?
I have been craving Pizza, any suggestions?

Good day today, I was a little sore from my workout yesterday. So today we went tubing, Awww a relaxing day on the river..LOL well the river was kinda low because of the drought here so we kept getting stuck on rocks, so I had to use my legs and abs to get unstuck, so it turned out to be a mini workout. LOL but all in all fun.

I did my strenght training today and replaced the toning band with my 4lb weights for some of the excecises, I didn't feel like I was consistant with the band, so now I will know it will always be the same weight. I feel I am getting stronger.

Tomorrow we are relaxing while going tubing!

weigh once a week

I haven't blogged in a day or so, i'm getting the hang of what to eat, I have decided I need to stay away from the scale, I'll weigh in Weds only. I feel great and I don't want to be a slave to the scale.

I did 30 min on the treadmill today walking 2.5-2.7 for 30 mins. everyday I'm less hungry. Should I still be eating if I'm not hungry?

Frustrated

Ok so I weighed myself this morning and I'm 216, Wed I was 211, we did replace the battery in the scale because we could see the numbers well, so I'm just hoping that maybe wed when I weighted the scale was wrong and that I haven't gained 5 lbs, that's insane! I know my eating has been a little off 2 days this week but to gain 5 lbs would be just crazy!

Week 2 - Great

OK so today was weigh in day, I lost 6 lbs, so that is a total of 14 lbs. I was so surprised when I weight myself this morning I had to have hubby come over and read the number for me.

I went out to dinner to night so I splurged on reg dressing and a low fat/ sugar free desert. I didn't get my cardio work out in but I did go Kayaking today for a little while, it was the 1st time I have ever done it, it was fun and if it doesn't rain tomorrow I'm going again, and I'll get a cardio work out in.

Well, still haven't been feeling great, Not sick, just run down maybe. My eating meals have been good choices. Today was going well, hubby and I went to town to walk around instead of sitting at home, well when we wanted to leave hubby car wouldn't start, good thing my mom work close by so we walked there to get her car and get a new battery for hubby car, so I got some good walking in today. BUT then it threw off my eating, so I only got 4 meals in today.

Much better today. I followed the plan. My husband and I went to one of the state parks and took a 1.2 mile hike. I'm tired today, so just relaxing.

OK I was so off today as far as what I was supposed to eat. I went out for the day, kinda made a good choice for lunch, lost track of time and missed my 3rd meal, and ate too much for dinner and didn't want anything for the 5th meal. Plus didn't get my exercise in but I will tomorrow. I can't beat myself up over it though.

I did got to a health and beauty expo today put on by Rite Aid. It was great. LOTS of free stuff, and there were some cool people there, Billy Blanks, Denise Austin, Allison Sweeney and more.

I had a health screening, Blood Pressure was good, Sugar was good, HDL was a little high, but I'm not worried because I just came off a high protien diet, and my HDL is low, but I'm taking fish oil and exercising

Hubby's B-day

HI. I'm reporting my meals for the day.
Today was hubby's b-day, and my parents made dinner, they were very supportive of our eating, althought they bought cupcakes, but they bought them in lew of a cake so that was better, anyway I didn't have one, I feel I worked so hard the 1st week it wasn't worth it, plus it's too early in the program to have something like that. I'm so proud of myself.
