Well, I wasn't crazy yesterday for missing my 5k. I got an email today from one of the event coordinators and they said the race was canceled months ago but active.com was still taking registrations. It's probably all for the best since my right hip is still rather tender so, in an effort to emulate last week I won't be doing anything on Fri or Sat and just running the 1/2 marathon on Sunday.

This is a little reminiscent of when my piraformus muscle went out in that I get quite stiff when I sit around (like when working)

I did boil 30 eggs to help get in protein w/ each meal as julia suggest and will work on bringing them to work with me to augment the banana's or whatever carb I'm having at the time.
