Tried some jogging on Monday but the pressure was too much for my right hip so I went to my chiropractor & pt who've advised me to stand down for a while, no karate for at least a week, more rest, no leg workouts for at least a week, basically just take a few days off completely, use ice & the hot tub then get re-evaluated later this week.

There's only 16 days left before the next run in Kansas City so, I really need to get that hip back.

btw - bright spot last night was receiving an invitation to join the 180 Energy Drink Running Team sponsored by Anheuser Busch. So far, I've just filled out the initial application to share what size t-shirts, singlets, shorts and other apparel I wear. I'll share more as I learn more but, for now, I know we've got an invitation back to participate in the Pikes Peak run again next August. I'm looking forward to that. :)
