Ya know, I've always been an overall happy person. I've managed to find a smile and happiness in most everything that happens. But, this program is by far the best thing I've involved myself with in a very long time. I just recently got out of a three year relationship and I wasn't expecting to feel this happy in such short time. A combination of motivation, eating right, working out, seeing results, and keeping busy just makes it that much better and easier. GHF couldn't have snuck up on me at a better time in my life. So, thank you Julia and Chad :)
Aside from that...
I just got back from the gym.
I did Phase 3, Week 2, Workout 2. It went well. I also did cardio for 25 min. My ride was there, so I'm about to go jog outside for another 20 min.
Today is my "high carb" day and I think that I'm having a problem with that. It scares me. I've been trying really hard to eating each meal, with the right amount of nutrition. Tell me if this sounds right for a High Carb Day:
**Note** I drink lots of water before during and after my workouts, definitely 64oz...
Meal One:(9:30am) 1/2 cup of Oatmeal, medium Banana, 1 Walnut
Meal Two:(1pm) Half sandwich(1 slice of turkey, 1 slice of pepper jack cheese), about 6 pieces of cut up cantalope
(got my workout and cardio in)
Meal Three:(5pm-I meant to eat earlier but wasn't done with workout) 4oz grilled Chicken Breast with a side raw Carrots, 2 pieces of cut Cantalope
Meal Four:(7pm- it's not quite 7 but I'm makin' it all now) Diced 4oz grilled Chicken Breat mixed with hot homemade Salsa, all wrapped in a tortilla
***I can't seem to fit 5 in there. Maybe I wake up too late. I suppose if I get a little hungry later, I'll snack on an apple...? I sure hope I'm doing okay. :)
