My evaluation last week w/ my chiropractor went well, we went over the results today and I got two thumbs up for being able to start the Couch to 5K (c25k) program!
The first thing I did was sign up for the Indy 500 1/2 marathon to be held next year on May 2nd. Miles 6-8 of that run are ran on the Indy 500 race track! 2 Kewl! :D
I think today was my 54th day on the Wii and I started back w/ light lifting about 4 days before that. I've been weighing in at the bottom end of my weight range (circa 275lbs) for about the last 4 days so I should be hitting a new weight range around this time next week which is pretty much right on schedule.
My Ginormous piece of humble pie awaits me now - a scant 11 hours away - I did manage to get a 103% on my fifth homework assignment but I spent all day on the final three problems and still need to study for tomorrow's test.
LOL - I'm actually taking Acetyl L-Carnitine and Ginkgo Biloba to help with my memory!
One Test, one more homework assignment and one Final Exam over the next 6 days of class then it's time for a nice two week break before cramming two semesters of organic chemistry in by mid December
but ...I guess I really wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm looking forward to the running again. It's been quite some time since I could hit the road and jog for an hour or more non-stop. I think running becomes kind of cathartic at that point.
