Not sure where to start ...

Lifting has gone well. I did get some extra 10 pound plates so I've got some 85lb dumbbells to play with and I've started using an intermediate range weight when benching. I hit 255 lbs for 15 reps today which was pretty good considering I was up all night cleaning and working on my library before the workout this morning. I'm looking at 275 for 12 then maybe try to hit 300 for 10 or 12 on my next couple bench workouts.

An uncle of mine got a kidney transplant last Thursday so my parents have been traveling a bit and we might have to push off this weeks Friday/Saturday workout and pick things up again on Monday.

I think I already mentioned I'm signed up for the Indy 1/2 next year but also signed up for a local 5k Pumpkin Run to be held on Oct 25th. I also got in touch with the 180 Energy Team to volunteer to hand out 180 Energy Drinks at the end of the Lewis & Clark marathon to be held in a couple weeks.

I found out the Pikes Peak Ascent this year was pretty rough and some of the best runners on the team didn't make it to the top due to weather conditions and two of the runners ended up with frostbite and almost lost their toes. I'd still like to try the Ascent again in 2009 and will need a sub 2.5 hour 1/2 marathon by next year's registration to qualify.

I've mainly been working on my library and found a new Google application so I can put my collection online. So far, I've got about 3.5% completed or about 284 books entered and am categorizing all of them using the Library of Congress classification system.

I did end up buying some chicken as Julia recommended and still need to make up my slew of turkey sandwiches and salads for the week.

I've also hit the treadmill a few times for some quarter mile runs followed with walking a quarter mile and have just played around with the Stair Stepper. I need to get the stair stepper permanently plugged in and probably need to formalize a routine instead of being so random with the equipment.
