Time for change - School starts back today.
I weighed in on the Wii today after our workout and I'm still in my 269-274 weight range which is good since I've been eating around the clock during my break. I can tell more muscle has been added to my frame. On a lark I went ahead and measured my arms yesterday and they're around 18" now so I've probably added around an inch of muscle over the last 2 or 3 months while dropping my bodyweight around 15 pounds over that same time period.
I finally got a full 8 hours sleep in last night but Sunday through Tuesday night I only slept for three hours on Sunday night so I kept my bench weights pretty moderate to light today. I did a good job getting all the rooms in my house cleaned up and organized. Things look so good now you would think I have a wife! ;)
I also managed to get 7% or 560 of my books categorized and online. That endeavor has gotten complicated enough that I've found it necessary to number my bookshelves to help keep track of where everything is located. Many of the older books are absolutely fascinating. One book, written right after the Civil War has every battle and every bit of armament movement documented. The interesting part is the war isn't referred to as the Civil War in the book, it's called "the Rebellion"
Another book written in 1853 called Civil Liberties and Self Government comments on many of the same issues still being debated on today such as the electoral and popular vote controversy. What's neat is that the book cited the last election in which President Pierce won out over Scott and Hale ...I had to pull out my big plastic ruler with pictures of all the presidents on it to verify this Pierce person ...sure enough, Pierce was president from 1853 to 1857. :)
Mentally, I can feel myself gearing back up for school - big reward at the completion of these final classes - two semesters of organic chemistry and associated labs to complete between today and December 18th. Once done, I'll be fully accepted into the DC program which I'll start in January.
