I got a drenching yesterday morning handing out 180 Energy Drinks at the end of the Lewis & Clark marathon.

The weather was atrocious and from what I heard on the news this morning, two people actually died due to the storm.

Last year the 180 team was set up under a tent so I figured it would be like that this year but the weather was too rough to get it set up so we hauled about 100 cases of 180s to the finish line and handed them out to the finishers.

The marathon portion of the race was canceled since many parts of the trail were under water and the 1/2 marathon had to be diverted a bit as well and cut short by a mile or two.
Some people were upset not being able to finish their marathon while others, unaware of the route changes, were glowing over their new PRs for the 1/2 marathon! :)

All told, some 3,700 people still ran in the race. I'm not sure how many finished. I braved the weather and handed out 180s for about 3 hours until the head Anheuser Busch guy told me to go ahead and grab a case to take home with me. I said I might not come back and that was the case. :)

Today's workout was very fun - good group of exercises today and my Dads old training parter came back after being away for most of the year due to a leg injury.
