A nasty Canadian arctic cold front that charges south and deep freezes everything in a short period is a Nunavut Express. We had a 20C drop in two hours and a 12C drop over the night to -34C, -47C with windchill. The slushy snow froze so fast the rear wheels of my car froze and it took 1/2 a day in the garage to thaw out. So I missed yesterday's workout.
You know it's cold when you take a breath and your nostrils slam shut. I braved the deep freeze and drove with what seemed like square tires to the gym and had a good workout.
