We’re very excited to offer Full GHF Members 20 high-quality classes that you can view and follow online – anytime, anywhere! All of these “video classes” are free from advertisements and done by some of the best certified instructors in the fitness industry. Classes include yoga, pilates, core training, kickboxing, pre- and post-natal – just to name a few – and can be done in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Following is a description of each class, including the fitness level, duration, and equipment needed, if any. You'll also find a "Quick sample preview" link following each description. Further below you’ll find more information on each of these great instructors. Click on the link of interest below, be patient while it loads, and enjoy! Beginning Yoga Class - Emma Lee introduces a basic routine of beginning yoga
poses. This class is 30 minutes long and you’ll need a mat, blanket, and a chair. Quick sample preview.

Power Yoga - Intermediate yoga poses linked together in a flow of breath and movement. Valerie Maclean teaches this one. It’s 25 minutes in duration and you’ll need a yoga mat. Quick sample preview.

Yoga for Strength - An Advanced series of Yoga movements by Cass Naumann, designed to increase strength throughout the body. No equipment is needed for this class, and it lasts 42 minutes. Quick sample preview.

Pre- and Post-Natal Cardio Workout - This cardio workout uses a fitness ball, is instructed by Darlene Turner-Lee, and is appropriate for pre- and post-natal women. You’ll need a fitness ball for this 20-minute class. Quick sample preview.

Pre- and Post-Natal Strength Training - A total body strength class designed to meet the needs of pre- and post-natal women. Another great class by Darlene Turner-Lee, which is also 20 minutes and you’ll need a fitness ball as well. Quick sample preview.

Beginning Core Training - A beginner "core-training" class by Debbie Rourke, intended to strengthen your abs, thighs, glutes, and lower back. It’s only 8 minutes long and no equipment is needed. Quick sample preview.

Intermediate Core Training - Also a "core-training" class (abs, thighs, glutes, and lower back) by Debbie Rourke, but at the intermediate level. You won’t need any equipment for this 10-minute class. Quick sample preview.

Intermediate Cardio Kickboxing - A fun and energetic cardio class that incorporates kicks and punches. A great 30-minute workout by Joanne Blackerby. No equipment is needed. Quick sample preview.

Total Body Road Warrior Workout - A workout by Joanne Blackerby that focuses on all the major muscle groups in the body. Ideal for those that are traveling or that want a short 15-minute, very effective total-body routine. You won’t need any equipment. Quick sample preview.

Beginner Ab Workout - A simple, yet very effective routine to your strengthen abs. Taught by Jennifer Murdock that requires a mat and just 5-minutes of abdominal work. Quick sample preview.

Advanced Ab Workout - An intermediate/advanced abdominal workout by Valerie Hunt that takes you through a challenging routine of ab exercises. This class lasts 15 minutes and you’ll probably want a mat for maximum comfort. Quick sample preview.

Beginner Step-Aerobics - Jennifer Murdock offers a fun and easy introduction to step-aerobics that will give you a great cardio workout for 20 minutes. You’ll need a step for this class. Quick sample preview.

Intermediate Step-Aerobics - A more challenging step-aerobics class that lasts 32 minutes. It is also instructed by Jennifer Murdock, for those at the intermediate level. A step is needed for this one as well. Quick sample preview.

Total Body Step & Sculpt - A combination of step-aerobics and a body-sculpt class that focuses on strengthening all the major muscle of the body. Also by Jennifer Murdock that is 20 minutes long. You’ll need a step and small dumbbells (optional), if you’d like to increase the intensity. Quick sample preview.

Intermediate Body Sculpting - A more challenging way to train all major muscle groups. This class is taught by Shirley Bouvier and uses dumbbells for 40 minutes. Quick sample preview.

Beginning Pilates - Basic pilates exercises for beginners, by Kristen Studer. It lasts 25 minutes and you’ll want to get a yoga or pilates mat for this class. Quick sample preview.

Intermediate Pilates - An intermediate pilates class that also implements mat exercises, yet is slightly more challenging and is 30 minutes long. Also by Kristen Studer and a yoga or pilates mat is suggested for this one as well. Quick sample preview.

Advanced Pilates - This is the most challenging pilates mat sequence, again instructed by Kristen Studer, for those that are advanced. It too is 30 minutes long and a yoga or pilates mat is recommended. Quick sample preview.

Intermediate Circuit Training - A fast moving, continuous flow of cardio and strength exercises combined to make up this very effective circuit training routine. It’s 27 minutes in duration and taught by Shirley Bouvier. A mat, step, and two sets of dumbbells (one lighter, one heavier) are recommended. Quick sample preview.

Advanced Cardio/Strength Bootcamp - Valuerie Hunt teaches this advanced class that combines highly challenging strength and cardio exercises into one very powerful 30-minute workout. No equipment is necessary. Quick sample preview.



Class Instructors

A registered Yoga Alliance instructor, Emma has taught gentle, beginner level and restorative Yoga to a wide variety of people, including children! Emma first began teaching following a back injury during her Peace Corps assignment abroad. Emma has a very soothing and compassionate style that makes her class not only easy to follow, but very enjoyable.
   
 

Valerie has enjoyed a successful career in Fitness and Management for more than 15 years. She holds multiple national certifications in the areas of Personal Training/ Fitness Counselor and Group Exercise, and is a certified Yoga instructor who has also studied under Bryan Kest. Valerie has directed fitness programs, taught all exercise class formats and individually trained numerous clients. Valeries clients, students, and the instructors and trainers that have worked for her over the years consistently recognize her strong sense of dedication and love for the business of changing lives. Valeries strong belief in creating balance in all areas of life and her steadfast perseverance have helped her always get results.

   
 

Darline is a physician assistant, graduate of Duke University Medical Center, and a certified exercise specialist and perinatal fitness instructor. She owns "Next Step Fitness, Inc.", a women's health and fitness company. Darline's goal is to help women to be their most fit no matter what their age or circumstances. She not only writes and speaks about a wide variety of healthcare issues, but she models her passion in the DemandSports Prenatal Exercise classes in which she is 40 years old and 6 months pregnant. Darline's passion for women's health and her real life experience as a "mompreneur" keep her in demand with all of her clients.

   
 

Debbie is a full-time Pilates instructor, certified in the Classical Method of Pilates Training through Power Pilates of New York. Her passion for Pilates conditioning originates from her own experience. For years she ran competitively and used strength training to stay fit. In 1996, she added Pilates to her regimen and nothing she had done before impacted her body in the same way. Abdominal muscles became stronger, her spine became straighter, and joints became supple. Be ready to focus, find that powerhouse strength, and make changes that will enhance everything you do as you move through your days!

   
 

A nationally certified fitness trainer, Joanne has more than 15 years of group exercise and fitness training experience. The owner of "Spirit Fitness", Joanne provides personal and multilevel group training programs for all fitness levels. Her experience includes health club program management, fitness instructor training, women's fitness, personal training, and sports conditioning. A full-time mother of three, coach, trainer, urban athlete, and continually aspiring marathoner, Joanne is known for her infectious and motivating energy, sound training knowledge, and challenging fitness regimens designed to help you achieve your personal best!

   
 

Jen has a Masters Degree in Education (Curriculum and Instructor). She is a certified Group Fitness instructor who has taught and directed fitness programs in Hong Kong, New York, Florida and Texas. Her infectiously fun and energetic style makes her a favorite at every club in which she teaches, and her regular students are thrilled to now have her on demand" anytime!

   
 

Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition. She is a certified Personal Trainer, Fitness instructor and a Pose Method running coach. Valerie is the creator and owner of "Xpress Fitness" (www.valeriefitness.com) and has trained a variety of population groups and fitness levels. Her boundless energy and stamina are unparalleled, and she creates a challenge for even the most accomplished of athletes!

   
 

Shirley is a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness instructor with more than 10 years experience. At 42 years old, and a mother of 3, she is living proof that you can be in the best shape of your life at any age! Shirley has a gift for teaching and motivating others; she consistently pushes herself to attain higher goals.

   
 

Kristen has a Bachelors Degree in Dance from Mills College. She completed a full certification in Stott Pilates in Toronto, Canada and teaches group and private classes.
