"I've spent the last few years losing and regaining weight. I'd lose twenty pounds by crash dieting and exercising twice a day and put the weight back on in half the time. I've been on every fad diet out on the market. The sizes in my closet reveal my sad history of yo-yo dieting; ranging from size four to sixteen. I was unhealthy and unhappy not only with my body, but also with my failure to keep the weight off.

In a search for motivation, I stumbled across the Global Health & Fitness web site. I found the weight management and exercise tips very helpful and turned to the web site often for motivation. The weekly newsletters are full of great articles, recipes, and words of encouragement. Best of all, I was working personally with their experts and their customized programs were very effective. My clothes were loose and I felt great!

My exercise program was going great, but I needed additional help with my nutrition. I threw away my scale and started the GHF Customized Diet Plan. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want a short-term "diet", but the sample recipes looked delicious and the plan sounded healthy and balanced. I immediately fell in love. The recipes, shopping lists, and meal plans are all great! I finally had a customized plan for both fat-loss and maintenance that gave my body everything it needed to feel great. I have tons of energy, feel satisfied, and have a variety of meal ideas. I started to realize that eating healthy doesn't have to compromise flavor and variety.

I started looking for ways to make exercise fun and incorporate it into my daily routine. I started taking long walks with my dogs and husband. When I golf, I walk and carry my clubs instead of taking a cart. I became active instead of simply working out all the time. I also started mixing up my strength training routine. The GHF web site has so many different weight-lifting programs; I'll never get bored lifting weights again! I've made great strides in the amount of weight I can lift too. My one-rep max of 245 on the leg press has become my ten-rep max. Now I can leg press 330 pounds! Exercise has become fun and invigorating!

The GHF program forced me to get away from the quick-fix diets and the support of the team at GHF gave me the motivation and tools to become successful. Now I have a healthy, active lifestyle and a ton of self-confidence. Thank you GHF for changing my life!"
