"I knew I was getting older. I knew my diet was eat whatever, whenever. I knew my exercise program of periodic jogging was only a placebo. But I actually believed that I was in pretty good shape. Then I got the pictures back form a vacation that my wife and I took in the Caribbean. They verified what the bathroom scale had been yelling for the last 15 years.

Given the fact that I needed to change, and my profound ability to procrastinate, I knew I need help – professional help. I live a varied activities lifestyle with a career as a helicopter pilot at a hospital program requiring back country rescue and enjoy activities such as skiing and backpacking. This meant that I needed overall general muscle tone and strength with good cardiovascular stamina. The professionals at GHF came up with a training program that would allow me to stick to it, and see good results fast. One of the challenges I faced was not having any experience in weight training. I had NEVER been inside a weightlifting gym before.

Your online training programs, along with the exercise instructions and video clips, showed me the proper techniques in weightlifting. I have always been too intimidated to ask questions about weight training from experienced people. GHF allowed me to ask these questions and it gave me the confidence to start weightlifting – on a program that was right for me. They also helped me to understand proper nutrition, supplementation and effective cardiovascular – in combinations that are right for me.

From the first month I started your program, I saw a great increase in muscle size and endurance.

The first week the training was really tough! I found muscles that I didn't even know I owned. But gradually I started feeling fit and was actually able to increase my workouts. I used to run only 3 miles a day. Now I can run 7 without any effort. In just 12 weeks, I lost more than 30 pounds of fat! And the weight training has given me the strength to run longer and with less effort.
