"I came across the GHF website and was extremely skeptical at first. You see, I had tried just about everything on the market that promised to help me lose weight only to end up with another empty promise. Why should I waste another dime with another scam, I thought. They will be just like everything else I tried and failed.

Two weeks after my initial visit to the website I decided to give GHF a second look. I read some of the testimonials and decided to try it just to see if by some chance this would work. Actually, one of the things that sold me on trying GHF was the fact that Tom Venuto was one of their 34 experts. I had read some things he wrote and was very impressed with him.

If GHF offered nothing else but Dr. Frank Smoot, Sean O'Mally, Tom Venuto, Chad with his customized nutrition plan and the customized workout plan and motivation by Dani, it would still be more than worth it. But, you offer so much more. Each week I get a motivational document which helps tremendously. And Dani...she follows up every single week to check on me and see if I need anything. It is like having another personal trainer.

I could go on and on for pages about GHF, Dr. Smoot and Sean O'Mally. But, let me spare the details and say that for the very first time in my life, I am happy with me. I have lost 9lbs of fat, gained muscle, and reduced my body fat by 4% and I look and feel absolutely fabulous. I am not yet at my goal which is another 8lbs but I have been able to accomplish in less than 3 months what I couldn't accomplish in two and a half years with a 3 day workout program with my personal trainer. And, for the first time, I am fully confident that I will reach my goal and I will keep every bit of my weight loss off permanently. But, the most important thing is I learned how to love me. I learned how to set goals. How to take my mistakes and learn from them. How to stay motivated. How to focus on the task at hand.

I learned how to eat 5 meals per day. I learned about ratios... how to cycle my carbs, how to incorporate cardio exercise into my workout routine. I went from hating to do cardio to now where doing my cardio routine is the most exciting part of my day. I could barely do 20 minutes of cardio....now I can easily do 60 minutes. "After many attempts at trying to stay motivated with a weightlifting and cardio program, I realized that I had two major problems that needed to be overcome. First, I was always in doubt whether the weightlifting/cardio program I designed was the most effective for my goals. Secondly, I did not have confidence that my technique was correct. As I sped towards 40 years old, the risk of injury due to small flaws in technique seemed magnified. "Global Health and Fitness is the very best thing that I have ever done! People outside the US, please don't let the exchange rate turn you away! The programs are easy to implement and very effective. They are varied to prevent boredom and 'shock' your muscles continually by doing different exercises and techniques.

I had a discectomy in June of 2000 at level L4-5. I also found out I have degenerative disc disease at L3-4. I knew that I had to get my butt in gear and do something before I ended up a total wreck. There are several record-keeping programs available for strength training, but none, to my knowledge, offers the variety and sequence of Protrack 2005. "I have completed my first 12 weeks of the beginner strength training program and am very pleased with and excited about the results. I lost ten lbs. of fat and lost a couple inches off my waist. My goal is to lose 60 more lbs., which would put me at 195 lbs. This week I started four days a week of strength training and three or four days of cardio training. "I just want to take this moment to tell you how happy I am with Global Fitness. I tried the 30-day trail membership to see if this was something I wanted to do. The reason that I chose Global Fitness was because my sessions with my trainer was about to expire and I wanted to keep up the strength training portion. What I soon discovered was that although I was being trained for 4 months, I did not know how to perform the strength
training techniques by myself.

The customized strength training program has made me accountable to my own training. I take the workout log along with the demonstrations to the gym and perform them. I have received good feedback from veteran trainers whom commented on how organized and effective the training setup appeared.

"Before (and during!) signing up with GHF I thought the idea of having an online trainer - and particularly one that is on the other side of the world from me - was fine for serious body buffs or experienced gym goers. Well, I was wrong. This program is working for me, someone who is very overweight and on the bottom rung of the fitness ladder, with more injuries than you can shake a stick at.

I can only get to the gym 3-4 times a week but even after a short time I've seen a real difference. I've already achieved 10% fat loss on this program. I also have noticeably less pain from my injuries (back and knee) - I feel really great!

As my body reshapes, my metabolism has done a U-turn. Yo-yo dieting and a couple of serious illness have 'traumatized' my metabolism. Since starting the GHF program - and this is the most amazing thing to me - I have gone from never feeling full to never feeling hungry. I now actually have to remind myself to eat

Over the past weeks I've found a couple of advantages to having an online trainer. One is that I can workout according to my timetable, and not try work around 'live' trainers who are always booked at peak times. The other advantage is distance.
